Dear Valued Customer: PROFLEX® certifies that the products listed on the next page as complying with LEED v4.
EQ Credit 4.1 : Low-Emitting Materials: Adhesives & Sealants in the document titled “Proflex Products Contributing to LEED v4 Points” comply with the requirements set forth in the California South Coast Air Quality Managements District’s Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) Rule 1168. The U.S. Green Building Council has established the requirements in Rule 1168 as the criteria used to determine eligibility for products to contribute points toward LEED v4 certification of buildings under the Indoor Environmental Quality category. The Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for Proflex products contain the specific amount of VOC contained in each individual product. Proflex certifies that the products listed as complying with MR Credits 4.1 and 4.2 in the document titled “Proflex Products Contributing to LEED Points” contain 10 or 20 percent Post-Consumer Recycled Materials as indicated according to the guidelines set by the U.S. Green Building Council. Proflex certifies that the products listed as complying with MR Credits 5.1 and 5.2 in the document titled “Proflex Products Contributing to LEED v4 Points” contain 10 or 20 percent Regional Materials Extracted Processed and Manufactured within a 500 mile radius of the Proflex’s manufacturing facility located at Haines City, FL 33844 and the finished products are manufactured at Proflex Products, Inc. located at 1603 Grove Ave. Haines City, FL 33844 in accordance to the guidelines set by the U.S. Green Building Council. Proflex strictly adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Environmental Protection Agency for site management, material handling and landscaping to advance the mission of protecting human health and the environment.
